Consultation and Masterspec Services Delivery
For general advice and technical assistance, Gilt Edge are just a call away, but for projects large and small they offer support with Masterspec PartnerNet Services. Firstly, they assess the project and consult on the technical requirements. This is best done in the early stages of project development. When the projects Masterspec Specification Sections need formatting, simply email a PartnerNet Support Request to the Gilt Edge Masterspec Sections required. Gilt Edge will then write technically robust Masterspec Sections, then send back live into the specifier's Master Specification Document via PartnerNet Support.
Generic Specification Systems Development
Gilt Edge has developed Generic Seamless Flooring Systems Specifications, which meet stringent project requirements and warranty obligations. They also protect project investment (total cost of ownership) by protecting zones of historic potential failure. As an example, Gilt Edge Architectural has developed ‘second line of defence’ Sheet Vinyl Wet Rooms Systems for disabled access, which incorporate a BRANZ Appraised Waterproof Membrane. This system is now required by District Health Boards and Age Care Facilities to protect interiors from historic moisture damage. Both the Disabled Wet Rooms Specification and Design Guide are referenced (in Masterspec Section 6122GEGilt Edge Floor Levelling Systems) to the Specification appendices. This System has been used by both the ADHB and CMDHB new build and redevelopment projects.
Green Star Compliance as Standard
All Gilt Edge Masterspec and Generic Specification Seamless Flooring Systems are Green Star compliant. The Green Star NZ V3 Technical manual states that VOC emissions can be demonstrated through the provision of test results showing compliance to a recognised Ecolabel or a recognised Indoor Air Quality Scheme.
