Hinged door and sidelight on right standard mullion

Description

Hinged doors are 45mm thick and are available in open-out and open-in formats. Both frames have flat faces and can be coupled with sidelights and overlights.

French doors have rebated meeting stiles for a clean, flush look. As with the rest of the Metro Series door range, hinged doors are rated up to 2.4m high in very high wind zones.

Key Features

Recommended maximum 2400mm high doors in Extra High wind zones. For larger sizes consider using the APL Architectural Series
Metro occupies an intermediate position between Vantage Residential and the APL Architectural Series
Rebated meeting stiles give a flush appearance where French doors overlap and provide superior weathering
Open-out and open-in frames available
Parliament hinges allow doors to open outwards a full 180º in brick veneer situations
French door flush bolts are concealed from view in the leading edge of the 'lazy' door panel
Overlights and sidelights are possible

Open-in frame available but open-out applications will generally be preferred for utility and French doors

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Designed, tested and manufactured to meet NZS 4211: Performance of Windows, and NZS 4233: Glazing in Buildings, Parts 1-4
Designed and tested to conform to NZ Building Code, including Clause E2.

Other Performance Attributes

Window and door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of five years
Surface finish is covered by a separate performance warranty dependent on the actual finish selected
A hardware/componentry warranty is offered against defects in manufacturing, functionality and surface finish for a period of five years, provided care and maintenance guidelines have been followed.
