100% New Zealand Wool Acoustic Wall Lining for a Wellington School

At Our Lady of Kāpiti School in Wellington, a recent fit-out of new classrooms prioritised performance, wellbeing, and the future of learning environments.

Floc Acoustic Roll was selected by designers Silverwood Architects to support quieter, more focused classrooms while meeting the high-performance demands of contemporary school design. With Group 1-S fire compliance, natural sound absorption, and breathability, Floc offers a credible alternative to synthetic acoustic products, made from 100% new strong wool grown right here in New Zealand.

The Floc was installed across classroom walls supplied by Wellington based T&R Interior Systems, the creators of Floc, who also supplied the ceiling system to deliver cohesive, high-performing interior acoustics.

As awareness grows around the impact of synthetic materials in learning spaces, demand for healthier, more sustainable solutions continues to rise. Floc offers a future-focused solution for schools and early childhood centres across Aotearoa.
