Description

This system is suitable for medium rise and shopfront use. Glazing is nearly flush with the outside face reducing the visual effect of aluminium profiles as viewed from the outside.

Two sash options can be incorporated. The flushglaze system can be used as a curtain wall. Provision can be made for seismic and thermal movement.

  • Can be used as a strip curtain wall system and can be structurally glazed vertically to minimise the impact of aluminium beads
  • Structural glazed mullions can be included in the system

Scope of Use
  • 114mm ThermalHeart+® split mullions are fully compatible with APL Architectural Series ThermalHeart+® system. A full seismic transom will be available early 2027
  • Suitable for shopfront and medium rise commercial applications
  • Capable of a range of spans depending on aspect ratio, mullion spacing and wind pressure. Consult Vantage for specific information
  • Compatible with Magnum commercial doors
Limitations on Use
  • Tested to Very High wind zones and beyond but projects may require project-specific testing
  • Shop drawings can be supplied when specified
  • Project-specific flashings and brackets are often required and are supplied by the window manufacturer
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • Designed, tested and manufactured to meet NZS 4211: Performance of Windows, and NZS 4233:  Glazing in Buildings, Parts 1-4
  • Designed and tested to conform to NZ Building Code, including Clause E2
In-Service History
  • Launched in 2001
  • Some design upgrades released
  • Widely used by builders and specifiers
Other Performance Attributes
  • Window and door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of five years
  • Surface finish is covered by a separate performance warranty dependent on the actual finish selected
  • A hardware/componentry warranty is offered against defects in manufacturing, functionality and surface finish for a period of five years, provided care and maintenance guidelines have been followed
