Description

DuraSound (STC43) is an aluminium accordion partition door which is used for acoustic area separation. DuraSound features a twin walled design operating on twin parallel top-hung tracks — no floor tracks

Limitations on Use

Not suitable for external use or exposure to outside elements such as rain or wind
Header to remain parallel with floor level within +/-5mm tolerance
Available as a straight partition only

DuraSound with Stabilizer Bars option:

For doors over 3.4m (up to 5m)
Requires a wider header/bulkhead
Motorisation recommended for DuraSound doors between 4m - 5m tall

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Tested in accordance with ISO 9705:1993 as required by NZBC for the control of fire spread on interior walls and ceiling linings. Group Number 2-S
STC43 tested in accordance with ASTM-E90-66T and R114-2
