DuraSound Acoustic Moveable Partition
Description

DuraSound (STC43) is an aluminium accordion partition door which is used for acoustic area separation.  DuraSound features a twin walled design operating on twin parallel top-hung tracks — no floor tracks

  • Hanging weight @18kg p/m²
  • Stacks to approximately 20% of its width (refer technical details for calculation)

  • For doors above 3.4m use the DuraSound with Stabilizer Bars option
  • Recessed or exposed track options available, with or without soffit
  • Latch closing or optional lock and key specification for added security
  • Optional motorisation

Limitations on Use
  • Not suitable for external use or exposure to outside elements such as rain or wind
  • Header to remain parallel with floor level within +/-5mm tolerance
  • Available as a straight partition only

DuraSound with Stabilizer Bars option:

  • For doors over 3.4m (up to 5m)
  • Requires a wider header/bulkhead
  • Motorisation recommended for DuraSound doors between 4m - 5m tall
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • Tested in accordance with ISO 9705:1993 as required by NZBC for the control of fire spread on interior walls and ceiling linings. Group Number 2-S
  • STC43 tested in accordance with ASTM-E90-66T and R114-2

Warranty

  • Won-Door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of three years (must be installed by Won-Door trained technician)
  • Maintenance required every 3 years
