DuraFlex Non-Acoustic Moveable Partition

DuraFlex is an aluminium accordion partition door which is used for non-acoustic area separation. Ideal for sight and privacy barrier requirements. DuraFlex features a single walled design operating on a single top-hung track — no floor tracks.

Scope of Use
  • Hanging weight @9kg p/m²
  • Stacks to approximately 15% of its width (refer technical details for calculation)
  • Heights up to 3.4m, no width restrictions
  • Recessed or exposed track options available, with or without soffit
  • Curved or straight partition options — curved available in 1524mm and 3048mm radius
  • Latch closing or optional lock and key specification for added security

Specification Options

Bottom Sweep (standard specification)

  • Panels stop 20mm short of flooring, Bottom Sweep (or skirt) provides a seal from panels to flooring
  • Bottom Sweep provides improved climate control and a full top to bottom privacy barrier
  • Header to remain parallel with floor level within +/- 5mm tolerance

No Bottom Sweep (optional specification)

  • Panels terminate closer to flooring level (approximately 5mm), with small gap under the partition
  • No Bottom Sweep is ideal where clean lines are preferred
  • Header to remain parallel with floor level within +/- 3mm tolerance
Limitations on Use
  • Not suitable for external use or exposure to outside elements such as rain or wind
  • Header to remain parallel with floor level within +/-5mm tolerance (+/-3mm with 'No Bottom Sweep option)
  • DuraFlex is only available in Manual Operation (non-motorised)

  • DuraFlex has been manufactured in New Zealand since 1987
  • Widely used by builders and specifiers for over 30 years
  • Installed in hundreds of New Zealand schools and educational facilities
  • Over 4,000 DuraFlex and DuraSound installations 
  • Won-Door's first ever customer in 1897, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, still orders over 50 Won-Doors per annum

  • One ball bearing roller for every panel (1:1 ratio)
  • 3 axle ball bearing leading post trolley
  • Durable and hard wearing


  • Won-Door warranty provided under normal conditions of use against failure of materials and workmanship for a period of three years (can be installed by Won-Door trained technician or builder)
  • Maintenance required every 3 years
