Apricus ETC 30 Solar Hot Water Collector
Description

The Apricus ETC 30 can be installed on any house, building or facility that uses hot water, providing renewable, zero emission solar heated water.

The Apricus ETC 30 will significantly reduce the environmental impact, energy use and cost of domestic hot water. The complete system will provide at least 75% of the annual hot water use in an individual home. Apricus solar hot water systems provide guaranteed hot water, whatever the weather, using back-up energy sources when required.

The system can make a significant contribution to Homestar and Greenstar points (EHC-5 & ENE-1)

ETC30 Collectors are used singly for individual homes and in multiple arrays for any larger building that requires hot water; for example, apartments or a hospital.

The Apricus ETC 30 is comprised of:

  • Evacuated glass tubes
  • Copper heat pipes and internal manifold
  • PVDF coated aluminium manifold case
  • Anodised aluminium frame with 316 SS fixings

At the end of life the Apricus ETC 30 Collectors are almost* 100% recyclable:

  • Aluminium (anodised and PVDF coasted)
  • Copper
  • Brass
  • Stainless steel
  • Borosilicate glass (pyrex glass, currently used for glass sand / aggregate

*Small amounts of rubber and mineral wool insulation are not currently recyclable.
