Cabot's Natural Decking Oil
Description

Cabot’s Natural Decking Oil is a penetrating oil that nourishes and protects timber. Its oil-based formulation can protect timber from some of the most damaging environmental factors such as UV, humidity and rain, extending the life of exterior timber.

  • Sizes: 1L, 5L, 10L
  • Coverage: 10m²/L (depends on condition of timber)
  • Recoat Time: 6 Hours*

*In conditions of 25C and 50% relative humidity. Cooler temperatures or higher humidity affects recoat time

Scope of Use
  • Decks, fences & gates, garden furniture, pergolas
Limitations on Use
  • Do not apply product if temperature is below 10C or is likely to fall below 10C during the drying period. Do not apply if rain or heavy dew is expected during the drying period
  • Moisture content of timber should be close to equilibrium moisture content, usually 10-15%, but not exceeding 15%, for satisfactory application

Maintenance:

Every 12 months check coated timber for changes in colour or water repellency diminishes due to weathering. When required,

  • 1. Clean the surfaces with Deck Clean as per label instructions
  • 2. Recoat with 2 coats of Natural Decking Oil

Use Cabot’s Everyday Deck Wash to refresh exterior timber decking and help remove dirt, dust and bird droppings for everyday use.
