Like the DONN ScrewFix system, the ST-001 clips can be installed in both walls and ceilings.  Other variations of this sound isolation clip are available – one type offering isolation of vibrations or ‘motor noise’ e.g. garage door openers, and another adjustable type that can incorporate the installation of insulation whether installing into timber, steel or concrete, for further soundproofing.

DONN ScrewFix is a dimensionally stable, cost-effective steel furring channel ceiling system, expressly designed for screw attaching sheet linings such as plasterboard, fibrous plaster and fibre cement. It is a high quality, lightweight alternative to timber framed ceilings.

DONN ScrewFix can be used for new installations, interior retrofits, construction of exterior soffits, and as a batten system for wall furring. It is also suitable for residential constructions featuring large areas of suspended flat ceilings.

The USG DONN ScrewFix ceiling system has been tested to AS1530.4 1990 and can provide a number of different Fire Resistance Ratings (FRRs).
