Pro Clima Wall Underlay Specified for Pauanui Bach

Adam Taylor of Adam Taylor Design recently commissioned a bach to be shared by two families in Pauanui. The footprint of 127m² includes five bedrooms and four living areas. Adam has included a mix of industrial and natural materials to replicate the original Pauanui utility sheds. Underneath the 'shed' cladding Adam chose pro clima's CodeMark certified SOLITEX EXTASANA wall wrap to offer the highest level of protection from external moisture.

A synthetic flexible wall underlay designed for New Zealand conditions, SOLITEX EXTASANA consists of a non-porous water resistant film laminated between two layers of spun-bonded polypropylene. It exceeds all of the testing standards of E2/AS1 Table 23, making it an ideal air barrier option.

Other interesting details include a full height rope mesh arrest screen, exposed trusses, MDF negative detailed ceilings, plywood walls and MDF batten linings, and a stunning burnished concrete floor.

This is currently under construction by 90 Degrees.
