SIP Panel House Protected with ADHERO Self Adhesive Wrap

Richard from pro clima caught up with Scott Noyes at his new house in Puhoi last week. Scott made the decision to build with Smart Panels from NZ SIP, not only for their great thermal performance, but also for their speed of construction. He's hoping to be comfortable year round without having to use much in the way of cooling or heating, just good ventilation.

The roof and wall panels are fully protected with Pro Clima Adhero watertight peel and stick underlay, which allows construction moisture to pass out as vapour, and can be left exposed for up to 6 months while the cladding is installed. Scott is going for a more rustic look on the exterior of the house to work in with Puhoi's historic feel, so is using vertical shiplap Macrocarpa from NZ Natural Timber Co for the cladding.

Adhero is also ideal for being applied over rigid air barrier systems on commercial jobs.
