An office building was being redeveloped and the architect wanted to create something special in the stairwell. The client works in an industry involving bright colours, has a bold coloured logo and wanted something to match.

The architect wanted to get away from the plain-ness and complications of frameless glass balustrades. They also wanted a design to allow light to infuse into the area and provide a feature with architectural flair that will stand out from the roadside.

The architect designed a custom welded aluminium balustrade, with integrated screens that met their needs. While Spectrum specialises in pre-fabricated modular architectural solutions, the team at Spectrum are also experts in custom solutions, so took this project on.

The client, architect and main contractor are extremely pleased with the finished result and the architect commented on the high quality of workmanship gone into the project.
