Style with Function in New Huffer Store

Opening as part of the new Westfield Newmarket development, the Huffer store was designed not just a retail shop, but a strong community hub. Huffer has used experiential elements in their design to create a state-of-the-art store, complete with sound booth and microphone for those artists looking to perform. This meant there was a strong need for high performance and noise absorbing materials to be used.

The project was designed by architect Sam Lennon of The Lennon Project and the brief was to create a modern, industrial look featuring timber and steel with the black Heradesign panels used as a contrasting feature in the ceilings (direct fix application).

The Heradesign panels were chosen for their high-class acoustic properties and the ‘warm’ character, of the wood wool which is perfect for creative design and available in an almost unlimited range of colours.

For sophisticated performance in a functional design, consider Heradesign acoustic panels in upcoming project designs.
