Portable Tiny Homes Feature Juken Timber Products

These portable tiny homes by NZ4U2U come in single or two-bedroom configurations and can be built to operate off grid. They are constructed locally to a high standard using quality materials which have been carefully selected for durability and attractiveness. As well as being modern, warm and comfortable, they come in a contemporary design which gives them an attractive aesthetic.

NZ4U2U are using Strandfloor for the floors, J-Frame for the framing and Triboard as the internal linings. The Tiny Home concept is catching on in New Zealand, and with land and housing costs on the increase, these affordable options become more attractive. When space is at a premium and quality matters, JNL Premium Wood Solutions are at the forefront.

Strength and durability are critical in order to handle the rigours of the transport process, and with plenty of research, and the assistance of Lance Fitzmaurice, the JNL South Island Sales Representative, the team at NZ4U2U settled on the JNL premium wood products. Strandfloor

Strandfloor is a high density reconstituted wood panel bonded with moisture resistant resin and wax, specifically formulated for use as residential and commercial interior floor platforms. Strandfloor products comply with the sheet flooring requirements of the New Zealand Building Code.

Distributed by Laminex.

J-Frame

J-FRAME is a general-purpose Structural Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) gauged framing timber manufactured from 100% renewable Radiata Pine, plantation forest. As a reliable straight and durable product, J-Frame can be used in a wide range of applications including residential and commercial framing and truss systems.

Triboard Wall Lining

Triboard is a 3-layered panel with a wood strand core sandwiched between an MDF outer “skin”. The result is a clean-lined panel that has high resilience and impact resistance and great stiffness where durability is paramount.
