When designing and specifying for the contemporary kitchen, and on behalf of your client, a balance between good looks and great functionality is the goal.
The team at FIT are therefore excited to introduce ESSENTIO, a new slimline, pared-back style for kitchen storage pull outs, designed and made by Vauth-Sagel of Germany.
ESSENTIO
Defined by an elegant, floating aesthetic, ESSENTIO baskets feature ultra-thin metal sides to ensure optimal space utilisation, while an integrated non-slip mat adds practical functionality. With most models available in both classic white and contemporary Lava Grey, there’s options to suit both dark-hued and light-toned spaces
FIT’s ESSENTIO range, hand-picked to suit the Kiwi market, includes tall pull outs, under bench pull outs and corner options, and is an exciting mix of tried-and-true models in a new style and brand-new concepts.
The classic tall fixed-front pantry, VS TAL Larder, remains but has been updated to the new ESSENTIO style. It’s joined by three special variants that provide superb storage solutions for the laundry and/or garage; the VS TAL Larder Flex Iron, Broom and Wash options make storage of cleaning products, iron and ironing board and laundry supplies a breeze.
More fantastically functional pieces
FIT has overhauled the under-bench segment with the introduction of the VS SUB Larder, VS SUB Rack and VS SUB Flex. This last model includes cleverly constructed variants customised for cleaning supplies, cooking basics and spice storage; the VS SUB Larder Flex Clean, Cook and Spice units are destined to become classics of kitchen storage.
Many components — baskets, trays etc — are fully interchangeable between the VS TAL Larder and the VS SUB Larder ranges, adding another layer of flexibility and customisability within the kitchen.
Clever corners in ESSENTIO and UNERO
Vauth-Sagel have been masters of corner units — whether blind corner units or revolving options — for many years.
For cabinets with just one opening door (blind corners), the ever-popular VS COR Fold remains and is joined by the brand-new VS COR Flex, an easy to install bottom-mounted unit.
The two-door corner option — VS COR Wheel Pro — and the blind corner VS CORNERSTONE Maxx are all far too popular to retire and now switch into the timeless UNERO look, with a wooden base and high-quality plastic side, which has been designed to complement ESSENTIO units.
But wait, there’s more
Also in the new range is a superb line up of hanging units. Whether it be on a wall, inside a cabinet or on the back of a cabinet door, there’s a VS Gate Rack, VS Gate Rack Plus or VS Gate Flex to help put that often-unused space to work.
Plus, for those clients that really love to be Insta-level sorted, the VS ADD range of short and tall boxes with either holed or solid lids provides the perfect way to organise utensils and kitchen sundries.
