Description

The Vauth-Sagel VS TAL® Larder is a full-extension, pull-out tall pantry storage unit designed for residential cabinet installations. Part of the ESSENTIO® range style, the system is characterised by ultra-slim formed sheet steel baskets with 70mm side heights, featuring a uniform powder-coated finish and integrated non-slip matting for a clean, modern aesthetic.

Manufactured in Germany, the TAL® Larder system is available in White and Lava Grey finishes. It fits standard cabinet widths of 300mm and 400mm, with frame height options covering installation heights between 1700–1950mm and 1900–2140mm. Each unit comes equipped with six individually height-adjustable baskets.

The system utilises non-electric Power Assisted Movement (PAM) for smooth extension, with an optional dual-direction electrical push-to-open attachment available (VS309 Push to Open Power Move).

It shares basket designs and accessories—such as roll holders, hook panels, storage boxes, and separators—with the under-bench VS SUB® Larder series. Together, they form the foundation for a well-thought-out, clearly arranged kitchen and utility room.

Scope of Use

Vauth-Sagel kitchen storage pull outs are suitable for residential use throughout the home; kitchens, pantries, sculleries. They also have applications in laundries, home offices, and garages.
Designed for installation into new cabinetry or retrofitting into existing cabinets.
Suitable for cabinet widths of 300mm or 400mm, with frame heights of 1700–1950mm or 1900–2140mm, and a minimum internal front-to-back cabinet depth of 503mm.
Shares basket designs and modular special accessories — including roll holders, hook panels, storage boxes, and separators — with the under-bench VS SUB Larder series.
Fully compatible with VS ADD® Box and VS ADD® Separator storage inserts.
Automation Options: Can be specified with standard non-electric Power Assisted Movement (PAM) or upgraded with the optional VS309 Push to Open Power Move electrical attachment for touch-activated, dual-direction movement.

Limitations on Use

Front panel should not exceed maximum frame height by more than 300mm.
A minimum internal cabinet depth of 503mm is required.
Total load capacity must not exceed 120kg (including the door panel). Individual baskets must not exceed 16kg.

Suitable for residential use, taking into account the following:

Recommended maximum cabinet widths, depths and heights.
Be familiar with the load capacity of the unit and do not exceed it.
To avoid base panel sagging, sufficient support for the cabinet base is required directly under the mechanism runner. Warranty depends on adequate support being installed with the pantry.

When opening and closing unit or when putting items into it, do not apply strong downward force as this may damage the runners.
Do not use caustic cleaners on any part of the unit. Some dishwasher powders and laundry powders are particularly caustic, as are dry salt, salt water and any citrus juice. If they spill onto or into the unit, remove the powder promptly with a vacuum cleaner, soft brush or damp cloth taking care to re-wipe the surface clean after rinsing cloth free of substance and ensure it is dried well.

In-Service History

FIT first brought the Vauth-Sagel tall, fixed-front pull out pantry to the New Zealand market in 2013. Since then, they have refreshed the style on occasion, with the latest style, ESSENTIO® launching in 2026.

Warranty

FIT warrants the original purchaser of products against manufacturing defects for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. This warranty applies to all non-electrical products sold by FIT in New Zealand and Australia.

The warranty covers replacements for faulty goods only. Replacements will be supplied to the original purchaser only. If the identical item is no longer available, FIT will replace with the closest item from their current product selection. The warranty does not include any labour or other associated expense that may be involved in removal or installation of the product. The warranty does not apply if products have been incorrectly installed, have been subjected to loads in excess of specifications and/or have been subjected to uses/purposes for which they are not expressly intended. FIT’s liability is limited to the goods themselves and does not cover any consequential or incidental damages contributed to or resulting from the use, installation, performance or failure of products.

In New Zealand this warranty is additional to the conditions and guarantees of the Consumers Guarantee Act (1993).
