From their Auckland Office, MiTek has launched a new Buildable Truss Layout service for designers and architects.

MiTek is committed to ensuring that the BTL job, which carries a fee, will be assessed with any related engineering, separated from the plans and handled as a one stop shop. Designers will liaise directly with competent MiTek staff with the process under CP Eng. stewardship.

The package includes a producer statement PS1 covering B1 and B2, a design statement, and five drawings showing layout with truss to truss fixings, top plate fixings, lintel fixings, slab thickening and roof bracing.

The package will be issued with a paper trail which leads directly back to MiTek. MiTek staff will be on hand for council enquiries and subsequent manufacture carried out by MiTek fabricators.
