Cleanout / inspection point drains are designed to provide an access point for maintenance to drainage systems that have been buried or otherwise inaccessible.

If cleanout is located inside a building, a lid with a seal must be selected as per G13/AS2 Figure 10. The following products apply to this install scenario — BT100, BT PVC, Cast Bronze Vinyl Cleanout, Vinylrite Cleanouts, Cleanout Tile Floor Grate. All products are applicable to external applications.

• NZBC G13/AS2: Allproof cleanouts provide the ability to install an inspection point / rodding point to drainage systems in accordance with clause 5.7 and Figure 10.
• NZBC G13/AS3: Allproof BT100, BT PVC, Cast Bronze Vinyl Cleanout, Vinylrite Cleanouts, and Cleanout Tile Floor Grate provide the ability to install an inspection point / rodding point to drainage systems in accordance with clause 4.4 of ASNZS3500.2-2018 as referenced in G13/AS3.
• B2/AS1 Durability: B2.3.1 — Allproof cleanout systems meet the requirements of B2.3.1 (a) not less than 50 years, (b) not less than 15 years and (c) not less than 5 years
