Innovative Glass Technology from Viridian

Viridian Glass is a leading provider of residential and commercial glass including double-glazing, laminated glass and the latest in high performance options including energy-efficient, security and self-cleaning glass. Viridian Glass and Euroglass are a joint venture and can also supply and install bespoke Euroglass products.

Viridian Glass allows designers to create unlimited colours, patterns, textures and effects. From traditional to modern designs, and purely decorative to structural applications, the following products demonstrate 21st century glass production technology at its most advanced.

SEFAR Architecture VISION

SEFAR Architecture VISION is the latest innovation in glass systems from Europe and is now being produced in New Zealand by Virdian. Incorporating finely woven black synthetic fibres coated on one side with a single layer of metal, SEFAR acts as a filter, creating effective designs using plays of light. Six different weaves achieve a range of light transmissions and each weave can be coated with five different metals including aluminium, copper, aluminium/copper, chromium, titanium and gold. Laminated between SentryGlas, SEFAR Architecture VISION is incredibly strong, and a popular choice for external façades.

Screen Printing

Screen printing (sometimes called ceramic fritting) delivers colour and pattern to glass. Ideal for hiding structural members behind glass and providing privacy, ceramic fritting also assists in reducing solar heat gain. Any matrix, pattern or colour can be screen printed on glass meaning the design possibilities are limitless.

Digital Printing

Direct printing of photographic artwork, designs and logos onto glass is the perfect way to change the view inside and is only limited by imagination. Viridian can print any image on glass, making digital printing an ideal solution for internal spaces that require the benefits of glass while the look of another material (marble or concrete for instance) or even view (landscape) is desired.

Viridian decorative glass is highly versatile and designed for use in a wide variety of interior and exterior applications including balustrades, partitions and overhead canopies. Whether designing a cutting edge office or urban space or looking to create visual impact in a home, Viridian offers a myriad of ways to create an impression with glass.
