Free of any nasties and carcinogens

The Declare label outlines the raw materials used to manufacture SRP’s products, confirming that these high-performance wall and ceiling systems are LBC Red List Free. This means no materials used in the manufacture of the systems are on the Living Building Challenge’s red list of materials that pose serious risks to human health and the environment.

Made from an infinitely recyclable material

The Declare label also outlines the product life expectancy and how products are treated at end of life. As SRP’s products are made from steel, they are 100% recyclable at end of life. This provides a benefit over timber framing, contributing to a reduction in the carbon footprint of steel rollformed systems.

Cut to length to minimise waste

In addition to supplying products made from 100% recyclable steel, SRP also works to minimise waste during construction. They can supply all products cut to length, to ensure minimal wastage on site — ensuring a more efficient construction process, fewer offcuts, and a more sustainable build.

CO2 carbon certified

SRP sources their steel from a mill that is CO2 carbon certified, meeting ISO 14067, the international standard for product carbon footprinting. This demonstrates SRP’s dedication to using responsibly sourced steel for the manufacture of their products.

Helping designers meet the requirements of green builds

SRP are committed to helping designers meet the requirements of sustainable builds. Steel Rollformed Products' Ceiling Systems are available as Direct Fix, Top Cross Rail or Strongback options.

LBC Declare Red List Free

SRP Ceiling systems are suitable for use for internal ceilings and also external soffits. All SRP Ceiling Systems can be used to provide a base grid to fix GIB plasterboard, and to be the batten system in GIB Plasterboard Systems.

The selection of an SRP systems is determined by space requirements of the plenum vs internal room height.

Direct Fix: provides less room between ceiling structure and plasterboard and is suitable for houses, apartments, and offices where plenum space is not required, combines with 16mm or 28mm Batten
Strongback allows for suspended ceilings are are suitable for commercial spaces where rigidity and plenum space for services is required, combines with 22mm Batten and furring strap. Another option is to use the SRP 35mm Ceiling Batten with SRP Clipfix Clip.
TCR also allows for suspended ceilings and can be used with the 16mm or 28mm batten for use in for larger spaces.
SRP battens can also be used for Wall Strapping — with SRP Adjustable Wall Fix Clips (Please refer SRP Clips Spacing Tables for options).

NZBC Clause B2 — Durability: When installed in accordance with the installation instructions and in dry interior environments, SRP Ceiling Systems will satisfy the requirements of NZBC Clause B2 – Durability. SRP Ceiling Systems are manufactured from galvanised coated steel Z275 conforming to AS/NZS 1397.

NZBC Clauses C3 — Fire and G6 — Noise Control: SRP Ceiling Systems meet the requirements of specific fire and acoustic systems. Where installed ceilings form part of a specific fire or sound rated system the plasterboard manufacturer’s specification must be followed. Refer to GIB Fire Rated Systems and GIB Noise Control Systems.

SRP galvanised steel products are manufactured to meet the requirements of NZS 3404 Steel Structures Standard, NZs 404.1 Steel Structures Standard – Materials, Fabrication and Construction and AS/NZS 1397 Steel Sheet and Strip.

This is to certify that SRP Wall Products and associated componentry supplied by Steel Rollformed Products Ltd are designed to, and manufactured from, a compliant base material, to the relevant New Zealand / International Standards and to the relevant parts of the New Zealand Building Code.

In addition, all wall profiles manufactured by SRP meet the required BMT [Base Metal Thickness], strength and durability requirements. All wall component sizes and gauges manufactured by SRP are to precise specified requirements as established by design, and will not compromise structural integrity and/or fire/acoustic ratings of a relevant non-load bearing partition.

SRP Curv-E Track is a 2-piece split track designed for use in curved internal walls.

The SRP Curv-E track system is designed for use internally, in buildings where curved walls are designed/required — as opposed to straight walls. The Curv-E Track can be integrated to allow smooth transition from curved to straight-run walls.
