New Possibilities for Plumbing Design with Sanifos

Available with options for drainage of single dwellings or multiple storeys and commercial use, Sanifos inground pumps offer new opportunities for designing and building kitchens and bathrooms on challenging sites.

A perfect solution for granny flats and small buildings

The Sanifos 280 GR is ideal for granny flats, smaller homes and commercial premises. It consists of a 280L tank and a Sanipump cutter pump with float switch. This lifting unit can be used to pump grey water and black water including waste from toilets, sinks, washing machines, dishwashers and showers straight from the building to the main sewerage line. The Sanifos 280 GR comes complete with its own hydraulic system including a shut-off valve and non-return valve. A 40cm extension ring is available where additional height to ground level is required.

New possibilities for larger homes and commercial buildings

The Sanifos 610 GR is designed to cope with the waste water disposal needs of larger houses and commercial buildings. The easy-to-install system features a 610 litre storage tank, with six inlets that can take up to 125mm of waste water. The system discharges through 40 or 50mm pipework.

Comprising high-density polyethylene, the Sanifos 610 GR has excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. The system includes an external wired alarm for added peace of mind and offers four drilling zones to allow access into the tank where needed in the case of additional extensions.

Sanifos resolves plumbing issues for home with limited site and damaged internal drainage

The homeowner of this recent renovation had ongoing issues with their existing gravity drainage system. Due to subsurface water issues, the current drainage under the house had been compromised, leaving the drainage lines with inadequate fall and backfall in some places which led to blockages. What compounded this was the fact that most of the damage was situated under the house.

To resolve the issue, a Sanifos inground pump station was installed to bypass the damaged drain.

"This particular project was tricky as the site was a property with limited access backing on to a Gold Coast waterway. Due to this limited access we chose the Sanifos system," explains Greg Waters, National Technical Manager, Saniflo. "This made it easy to manoeuvre the tank in through the garage to the rear of the property where it would be positioned in the backyard. The pump chosen for this package was the Sanipump ZFS 71. This high-performance sewage cutter pump was more than suitable to take the waste from all fixtures in the entire house and pump back to the existing undamaged section of the house drainage"
