XTHERM blue provides complete external thermal ‘out’sulation whilst protecting the structure and those inside from what mother nature throws at it.

Thermal insulation is one of the most important decisions made in achieving an energy-efficient and sustainable project. Resene Construction Systems' XTHERM insulation boards are comprised of an ultra-high-density 35kg/m³ vs standard grade EPS of 18kg/m³, providing a higher thermal, and impact resistance.

XTHERM is an extruded styrene board and can be applied below grade without the risk of moisture deteriorating the board.

XTHERM blue as with all Resene Construction plaster facades is a complete system incorporating a full 20/40mm dry zone cavity, full flashing suite, lamina of hand-applied modified plaster coatings, full surface fibreglass reinforcement, styled with the designer's choice of textures from ROCKCOTE or Plaster Systems all finished with Resene protective coatings in the designer's choice of genuine Resene colours.

The XTHERM blue system includes Resene Construction Systems' exclusive OnSite Quality Assurance programme, providing surety of performance from the LBP professional plastering contractor installation through to the finish.
