Silence is Golden: An Intertenancy Wall System That Achieves Up to STC 64

The team at Resene Construction Systems are firm believers in keeping it simple, designing in redundancy factors whilst exceeding expectations and performance requirements when it comes to construction.

The building code requires an STC (Sound Transmission Class) rating of not less than STC 55 for Intertenancy walls. Resene Construction Systems' full-scale acoustic-tested system (not opinion) STC rating for the INTEGRA Central Barrier Intertenancy walling system is STC 64 (Rw 62). This is well beyond the minimum standard required. To make this even better, they have achieved this rating with a single layer of 10mm plasterboard, so there is no need to change wall lining type with our system to achieve a code-compliant solution.

Let's not forget fire protection with this system — the base system achieves a full 120/120/120 FRR.

Specifying a high-performance intertenancy system into your builds has never been easier, or more cost effective.
