Established in 1987 in the vibrant city of Johannesburg, South Africa, Nando's is now in almost every city around the world. The past three years have seen Nando's restaurants around New Zealand and Australia being fully redeveloped to enhance the dining experience, and bring Nando's original PeriPeri Chicken dining in line with Nando's Global vision.

These projects are all very individual from the layout, lighting, furnishings, right through to the wall finishes. Bespoke springs to mind when describing the fit outs.

The wall finishes feature Rockcote Natural Clay plaster that is coloured, all the way through to Rockcote natural mineral plasters blended with oxides to achieve the depth of colour required. The finishes are challenging in that they are not simply flat wall surfaces. The Rockcote Artisan plasterers create 'raked' lines, uniform off-the-trowel and templated surfaces that give each and every restaurant their own look and vibe.

The latest restaurants completed include St Lukes, Lunn Ave and Queen Street in Auckland, Hoyts and Colombo restaurants in Christchurch, as well as Rotorua and Hamilton restaurants.
