A proven modular platform

Promenaid has established itself as a modular aluminium handrail system that combines clean architectural styling with practical installation benefits. Using interchangeable modular components, the system can be configured for stairways, ramps, corridors and walkways while maintaining a consistent architectural appearance and helping simplify installation. Promenaid 2.0 builds on this proven platform by introducing new technologies while retaining the familiar ChannelGrip handrail profile.

Introducing SprocketLock

At the heart of Promenaid 2.0 is the introduction of SprocketLock bracket technology. Brackets can be securely positioned anywhere along the continuous rail channel, providing greater freedom to accommodate varying site conditions while maintaining the system's clean, uninterrupted appearance. Combined with the modular design, SprocketLock supports adaptable configurations for straight runs, corners, stairs and ramps while helping simplify installation.

Optional Channelux integrated lighting

Promenaid 2.0 also introduces optional Channelux integrated LED lighting, designed to fit directly within the handrail's continuous channel. The integrated lighting modules provide subtle illumination while maintaining the handrail's clean architectural profile, with the continuous channel helping simplify wiring and installation. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, Channelux is ideal where improved visibility, safety and ambience are important design considerations.

Applications

Suitable for residential homes, multi-unit developments, commercial buildings and accessibility-focused environments, Promenaid 2.0 can be configured for stairways, ramps, corridors, entrances and bathrooms. Durable anodised aluminium construction makes the system suitable for both interior and exterior applications, while optional Channelux lighting extends its suitability to areas where improved visibility is a priority.

Building on a proven platform

By retaining the proven ChannelGrip handrail profile while introducing SprocketLock bracket technology and optional Channelux lighting, Promenaid 2.0 represents the next evolution of the modular handrail system. It offers architects, specifiers and builders an evolved solution that supports both design intent and practical installation requirements.
