Structural Aluminium Cavity Batten Reduces Barriers to Consent

Extruded from aluminium alloy, the AliBat aluminium structural cavity batten was developed in response to restrictions to the use of combustible exterior cladding systems. The non-combustible batten can be used as part of a non-combustible exterior cladding system on buildings greater than 10m in height as defined by NZBC Clause C3. 

AliBat has additionally been designed to perform as a structural element and has been subjected to testing, with wind pressure performance verified up to design differential pressures of 6.09 kPa.

Ideal for installations of Nu-Wall Aluminium Cladding, Alibat is also compatible for use with a variety of panelised cladding products.
