Triple Duck Egg and Quarter Lemongrass are soft pastel tones that have already proven popular since their introduction into the Prime Melamine range two years ago. Both colours are matched to Resene paint shades, allowing designers to coordinate cabinetry with wider interior palettes. The new Black finish introduces a contemporary, ultra-matt option that responds to strong demand for darker, refined cabinetry finishes.

What is thermoforming?

Thermoforming is a manufacturing process where a durable vinyl film is wrapped around the face and edges of a door or drawer panel. The film is bonded under heat and vacuum pressure, creating a seamless surface with no exposed edges.

This process produces a hard-wearing, moisture-resistant finish, making thermoformed cabinetry well suited to kitchens, bathrooms and other high-use spaces. Dezignatek thermoform doors and drawers feature a melamine back for durability, while the company’s Swurves panels are manufactured using a thin, bendable MDF that enables curved cabinetry designs.
