Dezignatek Thermoform Collection
Description

Dezignatek Thermoform doors and panels are manufactured with a vinyl laminate (foil) heat and vacuum-pressure bonded over a pre-moulded MDF substrate. This forms a seamless and attractive coating.

With the ever growing demand for Thermoformed doors and panels, Dezignatek can provide the latest in colours and designs that will meet the individual requirements of New Zealanders and their homes.

Scope of Use
  • An ideal surface for normal wear and tear in a kitchen environment
  • Available in 18mm, 25mm and 30mm only
  • Maximum height 2400mm
  • Up to 350mm return available (max height 1200mm)
  • When using woodgrain foils specify if panel is left hand or right hand to ensure wood grain runs in one direction

If doors are subjected to excessive heat from certain types of ovens and dishwashers on a prolonged basis, shrinkage of the edges may occur. To eliminate this potential shrinkage Dezignatek recommends as follows:

  • Fit 180 degrees wrapped panels either side of the oven and dishwasher, or if under bench scriber panels will suffice
  • Where a drawer is fitted under an over tower, fit panel horizontally to protect drawer, or fit an appropriate powder coated oven deflector in either white or silver
Limitations on Use

Never use the following on the doors: abrasive cleaners, Janola or similar, scourer pads, wire wool, sand paper, or solvents and thinners

While Dezignatek doors and panels are water resistant (not water proof), care should be taken to ensure excessive exposure to water, steam or extreme humidity is avoided.
