New Suntuf Industrial/fr Polycarbonate Meets NZBC Requirements

Suntuf Industrial/fr allows transmission of good UV — ideal for growing plants — which is just one of the reasons why the owners of one of PSP's recent installations in Christchurch, along with project managers Hawkins Constructions, chose Suntuf Industrial/fr for the main roof and skylights.

Installed by Newfield Roofing, the feedback received was that Suntuf Industrial/fr is very easy to install, exceeding all expectations at the quality and amount of light transmission.

Suntuf Industrial/fr lets in 85% light without the glare and shadowing thanks to its unique diffused properties, while it also features superior impact resistance. It has a 20 year hail resistance warranty that meets the NZBC durability and performance requirement. No other product in the market offers this level of guaranteed resistance for this length of time.

In many buildings older than 15 years, clear fibreglass panels were the only option for ensuring a natural lighting source, but New Zealand's tough environment has taken its toll on this compound type. Suntuf Industrial/fr ideally integrates as in-plane skylight and sidelight into profiled metal roofs, using an advanced profile matching technology, that allows it to adapt to any metal profile. Suntuf Industrial/fr panels form a complete shield against harmful UV rays while admitting most of the visible light.
