LSG Sky Chefs Wall Protection Solution

Industrial Plastic Shapes (IPS) was approached to supply polypropylene profiled strips for the new LSG Sky Chefs building at Auckland Airport, and had the right protection for the internal walls of its large, high traffic commercial kitchen environment.

Wall and door protection is an essential component in any commercial project for preventing damage and safeguarding building investments. Nystorm offered its selection of Wall Protection products, including vinyl crash rails and matching corner guards.

Kevin Burrows (Project Manager LSG Sky Chefs) is delighted with the transformation of the rooms after the installation of the crash rails and corner guards. The end result looks better than the original solid white polyethylene stripes, and if proven over time to handle this demanding environment, may become a standard protection specification with future LSG Sky Chefs projects globally.

Nystrom partners with IPS in New Zealand and Australia to simplify specifying and procurement with the construction project workflow. Key customers such as LSG Sky Chefs now have direct access to knowledge, expertise and resources with people who design and manufacture world leading wall protection and entrance matting produce through this association with IPS.
