Versatile, Highly Aesthetic Solution for Building Cladding

Kingspan's range of architectural facades includes panelised options, rainscreen cassettes, and substructure systems. For buildings with complex designs, high aesthetics or requiring a ventilated facade, the Kingspan system provides a fast-build high-tech performance solution achieved with an extensive range of cassette types and finishes including the patented SuperFast install Dri-Design metallic rainscreen cassette. The Dri-Design cassettes are available in highly durable powder coat or anodised aluminium across a range of shapes and sizes. The cassettes can be mix-and-matched creating eye-catching interesting surface textures and designs.

Kingspan has a range of facade tested systems, assessments, and data to the BS 8414 Fire Test and AS5113 Test Standard. When installed with Kingspan’s QuadCore Karrier Rainscreen substructure system, Dri-Design forms part of a weather and air-tight building envelope that has undergone and passed rigorous large-scale fire testing. For example, the 80mm QuadCore Karrier Panel with Dri-Design aluminium has been tested to BS 8414-2 and meets the requirements of BR 135. Read Kingspan’s Facade Fire Performance document here

The IMC Cinema shows off its combination of facade treatments to stunning effect. For the Kingspan factory in Melbourne, Dri-Design Shadow cassettes added depth and definition, and custom perforation was used to add company branding. Together, they offer a stunning combination of functionality and aesthetics.

Also in Australia, Edith Cowan University’s (ECU) new $48 million sciences building features the world’s largest periodic table. The 660m² table is made from 360 perforated powder-coated aluminium Dri-Design and Hook on Cassettes.
