Self-closing Cavity Slider Divides Kitchen and Laundry Spaces

CS For Doors recently supplied a unique solution for an Auckland kitchen and laundry renovation. The design included a cavity slider to enable access from the newly completed butler's pantry to the laundry.

A CS RakingHead self-closing cavity slider was proposed so that the laundry would be hidden from view when not in use. This product uses gravity and the weight of the door to close behind the user every time. SofStop soft close technology ensures a gentle braking action that is smooth and quiet.

The clients chose a V-Groove timber door to match existing décor, and a customised CL400 Magnetic handle from the CaviLock range. With Oil Rubbed Bronze finish on one side and Satin Chrome on the other, this handle solved the dilemma of which finish to choose.

CS RakingHead is available in standard or custom sizes from 710mm to 1200mm wide. It fits into standard 90mm framing and suits any style of door up to 60kg.
