The Importance of Colour in the Workplace

With these principles in mind, Asona manufactured innovative and colourful solutions to solve the acoustic requirements of the new ASB regional centres in Greenlane, Henderson and Tauranga, all designed by CPRW Fisher.  From fantastical umbrellas, stylised grapes and fern-inspired cloud panels to striking 3D wall panels and lush fabric-wrapped Fabwall panels, colour was used to enhance, direct and separate out the areas for different activities to occur.

CPRW Fisher also designed the Media Silos in the ASB North Wharf Building, manufactured by Jones & Sandford Joinery and upholstered by Asona in bright lime, orange and sherbet coloured curved Snaptex.  This unique media space contrasts its bold interiors with an austere white façade, proving that colour used wisely can make the difference between an uninspiring space and a creatively charged working environment.

  • The Asona Cloud Panel is available in standard or custom sizes, shapes and finishes.
  • Mura 3D tiles are bonded and thermally formed from 100% PET available in a variety of colours.
  • Fabwall has a toughened composite interlayer bonded to a high sound absorption glass fibre core wrapped in a decorative fabric finish.
  • Snaptex is a site-built stretched fabric acoustic wall system that adapts to building shapes.
