USG Donn Grid Suspension System

Standard Grid Suspension system for acoustical ceiling panels and other in-ceiling services (24mm and 15mm grid face options). High tensile Quick-Relase clips on cross tee ends provide fast, easy, positive lock insertion for quick installation.

Scope of Use

Designed mainly for use in commercial buildings, retail, educational, entertainment, sports facilities, hospitals/ health organisations, hotels and multi-unit residential throughout NZ.

Limitations on Use

USG Donn grid is designed for use with an extensive range of 1200 x 600 and 600 x 600 ceiling panels including USG and AMF branded ceiling tiles and other in-ceiling services such as lighting and air-conditioning systems etc. It is now recommended that seismic ceiling design is carried out for all suspended ceiling installations with reference to USG Boral's Generic Seismic Design Guide which relates to AS/NZS 2785:2000 and NZS 1170.5:2004.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

USG uses the following standards in its manufacturing, testing and marketing policies for compliance with the respective building codes of Australia and New Zealand: AS/NZS 2785, ASTM C635, AS/NZS 1397, AS/NZS 1530.3, AS 1530.4, AS/NZS 3837, AS/NZS 4600, AS/NZS 1170, AS 1170.4, NZS 1170.5NZS 4219, AS 2946, NZBC - B1/VM1, NZBC - B2 Durability.
