Gyprock Flexible Plasterboard
Description

Gyprock Flexible is a 6.5mm plasterboard sheet with an enhanced gypsum core in a heavy duty liner paper that enables the board to bend to a small radius. This plasterboard is installed in two layers for increased strength and the long edges of the panels are recessed for flush jointing to a smooth, continuous surface.

Typical Applications:

  • Curved walls and ceilings
  • Freeform bulkheads and features

Gyprock Flexible Plasterboard is manufactured to a 6.5mm thickness in 1200mm wide panels that are 3600mm long.

Gyprock Flexible Plasterboard is typically installed in two layers for a 13mm thick final lining thickness allowing it to match other lining thicknesses in commercial construction. This installation can accommodate a 250mm radius design for a convex curve and 450mm radius for a concave curve.

Performance:

  • Thermal Performance – R Values 0.03m2K/W
  • Fire Hazard (accessed to AS/NZS3837 cone calorimeter test) Group Number 1 | ASEA < 250 m2/kg | Report Ref WFRA 45759.
