The Savaria Eclipse elevator is considered an environmentally friendly choice due to several key features. 

• Counterweight System: This system reduces the effort the motor needs to exert, directly lowering power consumption and making the elevator more energy efficient.
• No Hydraulic Fluid: Unlike hydraulic elevators, the Eclipse does not require hydraulic fluid, eliminating a potential environmental hazard and the need for its disposal.
• Energy-Efficient Components: The elevator uses energy-efficient LED lighting and a VFD motor that are designed to consume minimal electricity.
• Durable Design: The durable geared chain drive design means fewer parts wear out, which leads to lower maintenance costs and a longer lifespan, reducing the need for replacements and the associated environmental impact.
• Machine-roomless design: The compact controller does not require a separate machine room, which reduces the space and materials needed for installation.
• Manufacturer commitment: In 2024, Savaria published its first Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report, signalling a formal commitment to minimising its environmental footprint.

Warranty & Maintenance

Regular maintenance is required under NZS 4334:2012

Architectural Home Elevators offer Preventative Maintenance Agreements (PMA) to ensure the lift is serviced on a regular basis.

With proper maintenance Eclipse will provide many years of safe and reliable use.

• With no PMA: 1 year manufacturer's limited parts warranty
