In multi-storey buildings, noise issues often relate to impact noise made from foot traffic or airborne noise generated by general activities travelling through lightweight or poorly constructed flooring systems.  Silentstep underlay was developed for use under carpet to reduce noise transfer in multi-storey living and commercial, marine and transport environments.

Manufactured as a standard thickness underlay composite, Silentstep is easy to cut and lay, it offers excellent support and a firm cushioned base for all types of carpet applications. 

Silentstep RU (rubber underlay) is used under tile and timber floor finishes and Soundmat is designed for use in transport.
