Provista Provides Balustrade, Window Shroud and Louvre Solutions for Manchester Square

Leading nationwide balustrade provider, Provista Balustrade Systems, recently completed installations of a range of their balustrade solutions to the large-scale Manchester Square development in central Christchurch. The development, by Williams Corporation, is one of the largest mixed-use residential-commercial builds seen in the city in recent years.

The 7-block complex boasts 111 Apartments and Townhouses and is a significant project in Christchurch, aimed at revitalising the East Frame area. It consists of a mix of commercial spaces, apartments, and townhouses, providing a comprehensive living and working environment. The development is part of Christchurch's Central City Recovery Plan, which encourages residential development in the heart of the city. Manchester Square features a landscaped oasis surrounded by urban living that sits amid enduring Christchurch heritage and is designed to support modern inner-city living while being a key component of the city's ongoing regeneration efforts.

Provista solutions feature right across the development and include some 800m of Vista Top-fix Frameless Glass Channel solution to apartment and townhouse balconies, Provista 200 x 50mm Window Shrouds to multiple dwellings, Glazed Juliette Balustrades to more than 20 apartments and almost 10m-high 200 x 50mm Provista Façade Louvres as a key visual feature to the development. The balustrade and shroud solutions are finished in a Dulux Matt Flaxpod powder-coat while the façade louvres provide a striking contrast in Interpon Copper Penny Pearl Matt.

Like other Williams Corporation developments, Manchester Square features stylish and contemporary structures, combining low maintenance materials with clean and classical lines and complementary colour combinations. Attractive planting and pre-sewn lawns complete the look in the internal courtyard areas and help to visually seat the whole development into the landscape.

Williams Corporation Managing Director, Blair Chappell, comments "Provista did what they said they would do, had a great outcome aesthetically, with no variations, and the end product looks fantastic, hence why we have used them multiple times over the years."

Provista Balustrade Systems solutions are very adaptable to different building types, looking great on modern or classical residential or commercial structures and, with the Williams Corporation developments completed to date, have provided safe, practical and modern solutions that complement the design and look of the project.

Provista Balustrade Systems solutions are compliant with all NZ regulations and suited to A, B, E and C3 residential and commercial applications.
