How the system works
As both a manufacturer and nationwide installer, Mammoth has placed dedicated collection bins at major hubs:
- Auckland
- Waikato
- Bay of Plenty
- New Plymouth
- Wellington
- Christchurch
Installers and like-minded subcontractors collect site offcuts and drop them at these hubs. From there, the waste is transported back to the Auckland manufacturing plant, where Mammoth shreds and repurposes it into fresh insulation. It really is that simple.
A 100% recyclable resource
There is no cost for this service to anyone recycling Mammoth products.
Mammoth polyester is 100% recyclable and designed to be reused indefinitely. Whether it’s offcuts from manufacturing, waste from job sites, or material salvaged from demolished buildings, it remains a valuable resource rather than rubbish.
