Two colours – Ice and Stratus – have translucent properties.  Different types of lighting can be used to backlight these options and create different colours of luminosity.

Alternatively, the material can be engraved to different depths to allow varying degrees of translucence.  This can be achieved quite simply to create geometric patterns or logos.  Specialist fabricators can take almost any photograph, and through the use of specialist design software and CNC manufacturing equipment, produce high resolution translucent images.
