Laminex New Zealand Introduces Laminex Fire Retardant HPL

Laminex Fire Retardant High Pressure Laminate (HPL) panel is an extremely durable panel that is suitable for wall linings where maximum fire performance is important.

When tested in accordance with ISO5660 and the New Zealand Building Code Verification Method C/VM2 Appendix A, Laminex Fire Retardant for wall linings returns a Group 1S rating – the highest possible rating.

Laminex Fire Retardant HPL panels are available in a number of decors to match the existing Laminex HPL range, and consists of a Fire Retardant HPL which has been pressed onto a specialty MDF distinguishable by the distinctive pink core.

The hard-wearing, durable nature of high pressure laminate makes it ideal for wall linings in high wear situations such as offices, hospitals and retail spaces, and it could be used to add an extra decorative touch to your space.

Recommended installation is via direct fix to timber or steel framing, fixing over existing linings or combining Laminex Fire Retardant panels with proprietary hidden fixing systems such as GIB ReadyLock.
