New ARChitectural Range of Wall Linings from James Hardie Offers Improved Fire Resistance

The new ARChitectural range features ChromaShield technology.  ChromaSheild is a combination of a series of advanced and durable coatings and James Hardie cement-composite substrates that also have durability as their core DNA, together they create products that offer a "double shield" of durability from the surface-level coating to the core.

Made from a non-combustible substrate, the ARChitectural range of pre-finished linings achieves the best possible fire hazard properties classification of "Group 1-S" – assessed as per ISO 5660 cited in "Protection From Fire" Clause C of the NZBC.  This enables Invibe panel and Inraw panel to be used in the broadest range of commercial and residential building applications.  Smoke requirements on surface finishes are applicable in non-sprinklered spaces.

ARChitectural Invibe Panel

Architectural Invibe panel is an internal pre-finished panel characterised by a lustrous coloured look.

Invibe panel's core DNA is durability, because it's made from James Hardie 6mm thick cement-composite substrate coated with ChromaShield 200.
