ExoTec Facade Panel - The Expressed Panel Look

The decision was made to use James Hardie's Exotec Façade Panel on Top Hats.

The main reason the designers for Seatoun Primary School had decided to go with James Hardie’s ExoTec Façade Panel was because of its ruggedness due to high density fibre cement formulation. The school required a product that was capable of high impacts resistance, able to withstand moisture and rotting damage, able to withstand high wind pressures and a product that still maintained an expressed panel look. ExoTec Facade panel was able to tick all of these boxes.

The ExoTec Facade Panel was fixed to steel Top Hat sections made from high tensile steel. This was done to enhance stability, and speed up installation as less fixings were required. The Top Hat sections are zincalume coated to achieve long term durability paramount for such a harsh coastal environment.
