It replaces traditional building wrap in the cavity to provide a strong secondary line of protection against moisture ingress into the building envelope, as well as offering high structural bracing to significantly reduce internal bracing requirements for the building.

The Ecoply Barrier system allows a building to be closed in quickly before installation of the cladding, meaning interior fit outs can commence immediately for earlier project completion with the system now upgraded with an improved panel coating and a range of purpose designed joint sealing products allowing exposure to exterior weather for up to six months prior to cladding installation.

Ecoply Barrier panels are available in a range of sheet sizes, are manufactured in New Zealand from sustainable radiata pine, with the system being suitable for use in all wind zones up to and including extra high as defined by NZS 3604.
