Three Ways Sound Art Panels Can Improve Workplace Environments

Sound Art is a collaboration between Asona and Colourworx who have created a new and contemporary decorative acoustic treatment for the interior commercial market.

The Sound Art acoustic panel is a unique product that effectively combines acoustic performance and artistic imagery, transforming acoustic panels into works of art and art into acoustic panels.

Sound Art panels are manufactured in NZ from a robust 100% compressed polyester core combined with a superior dye sublimation printed facing. Lightweight and Group 1-S fire rated, Sound Art is suitable for a limitless range of applications.

An added advantage over standard ink jet faced panels is that the dye sublimation image is colourfast, odourless and wipeable with a damp cloth, making Sound Art ideal for restaurant and bar type environments.

Design considerations are endless. For example, images can match the building's function e.g. sport images in gymnasiums, spas and sports halls, corporate graphics in reception areas, educational images in schools and retail signage to name just a few.

Images can be split and provided over a group of panels to create a cohesive look for large walls or even complete ceilings.

Sound Art panels are available in a range of sizes and thicknesses with NRC 0.25 – 0.90.
