• ECB 75 is not a BRANZ appraised waterproofing membrane and must not be used as the sole moisture barrier in wet area applications. Use Strataflex or another Technokolla waterproofing system is required where water exposure is expected.
• Not suitable for use in exterior environments or areas subject to UV exposure, rain, or temperature extremes beyond residential interior conditions.
• Cannot be installed over unstable or dimensionally unstable substrates such as particleboard, unreinforced timber, or substrates with active structural movement exceeding 6.4 mm.
• Substrates must be clean, dry, structurally sound, and free from contaminants such as dust, oil, paint, or adhesive residues.
• Installation must be carried out using NAC TAC primer to achieve permanent adhesion and maintain crack isolation performance.
• Not intended for use over expansion joints or structural movement joints; these must be carried through the finished floor.
• Installation temperatures must be within manufacturer’s specified range to ensure full adhesive bond.

When installed in accordance with NAC installation instructions, ECB 75 supports compliance with the following provisions of the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC):

• NZBC Clause B2 Durability – provides long‑term performance as a crack isolation underlayment when protected by a suitable floor covering and used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidance
