Description

The Technokolla External Waterproofing System is a fully integrated, BRANZ Appraised liquid-applied waterproofing solution, specifically designed for use beneath ceramic and stone tile finishes.

Manufactured in Italy, the system provides long-term protection in high-moisture environments across both residential and commercial construction—ideal for decks, balconies, façades, patios, and waterproofed substrates.

It features a coordinated range of adhesives, waterproofing membranes, grouts, and levelling compounds, all developed for outdoor tile & stone installations. Designed to accommodate movement and environmental exposure, the system delivers long-term durability and excellent mechanical performance in external applications.

Core System Components

Techno Rasolastik EVO:

  • A single-component, fibre-reinforced cement-based mortar for waterproofing and protecting concrete.
  • Suitable for swimming pools, basins, tanks, and areas in contact with drinking water. Resists hydrostatic pressure and protects concrete in accordance with EN 1504-9 and potable water compliant.
  • BRANZ Appraisal Nos. 541 & 542.

Techno Star:

  • A high-performance C2TE S1-class adhesive suitable for thicker applications (up to 15mm).
  • Perfect for large-format porcelain or stone in both interior and exterior settings.
  •  Meets ISO13007 & EN12004

Technocolors:

  • A cement-based polymer-modified grout for joints between 1–8mm.
  • Offers a fine, colour-rich finish and incorporates a micro-shield system to resist bacteria, mould, and staining.
  • Available in 30 colours.

Techno Kronos:

  • A high-performance, cement-based self-levelling compound with very low emissions, ideal for both interior and exterior use.
  • Designed for medium-load areas, it offers excellent dimensional stability with minimal shrinkage and can be applied in thicknesses from 3 to 40 mm—or up to 60 mm when mixed with aggregates.
  • It is suitable for use over underfloor heating, is pumpable for easy application, and delivers low internal stress for a stable finish.
  • When covered, it can be used outdoors and is ideal for creating bonded screeds under ceramic tiles on cementitious substrates.

Plan-40 EXT:

  • Very low-emission cement-based self-levelling compound is suitable for interior and exterior areas.
  • PLAN-40 EXT is a multipurpose, very low shrinkage and high thickness (3-40 mm) levelling compound for average loading.

Techno RL80:

  • A two-part bandage with a 100% non-woven polypropylene fibre fabric over a butyl rubber self-adhesive tape for waterproofing systems.
  • Watertight treatment for corners between walls and floors, wall-to-wall corners and for sealing joints between special pieces such as gullies, drains, and spot lamps, for waterproofing treatments using RASOGUM+ or products of the RASOLASTIK range to be covered by ceramic tiles.
  • Dimensions: 80mm x 15m.

Techno Acesil:

  • A mould-resistant, acid-cure silicone sealant for internal and external use.
  • Highly elastic, ideal for perimeter joints and areas with expected movement.
