• Glass mosaics applied to rigid, fully supported fibreglass pool shells in residential and commercial pools, spas and hydrotherapy facilities.
• Where a waterproofing layer is part of adjacent wet-area design, membranes and bandaging are installed by trained applicators to IWAM and AS 3740, then flood tested before tiling those wet-area works.

• Not suitable for flexible liners, poorly supported shells or substrates with movement beyond tile-industry limits.
• Do not tile over contaminated, glossy or unkeyed gelcoat, rectify by uniform scuff, clean and dry before epoxy contact coat.
• Observe temperature, humidity and protection windows in the TDS and keep fresh epoxy away from water until cured.
• Pools, chemical exposure and immersion are risk triggers that require Surtec Technical review prior to specification and installation.

• When designed and installed as described, the lining system can contribute to compliance with NZBC B2 Durability for its intended service life and NZBC F2 Hazardous Building Materials as the components are inert in normal use.
• Pools are outside the scope of NZBC E3 Internal Moisture and the E2 External Moisture building envelope provisions, which should not be selected for this lining.
• Where adjacent internal wet-area works are part of the same project, those separate areas can be addressed under IWAM and AS 3740 with a compliant membrane system on their own EBOSS entry.

Technokolla epoxy adhesives and epoxy grouts are used internationally and in New Zealand for immersed and chemically cleaned environments, including pool projects supplied locally by Surtec.

• R2T epoxy adhesive classification provides high bond to non-porous gelcoat, low absorption and excellent chemical resistance under continuous immersion.
• Epoxy grout provides low porosity and resistance to staining and aggressive cleaning, supporting hygiene outcomes.
• System QA and training resources are available, including application detail and product data.
