Zenith Water and Arup have partnered to support the specification of advanced filtered water solutions across Arup’s Living Building Challenge (LBC) workplace pursuits in Australia and New Zealand. By becoming the first in its category to achieve a Declare label, Zenith Water provides independently verified, publicly available material transparency aligned with LBC requirements and Arup’s sustainability standards.

This partnership is demonstrated at Arup’s Brisbane office, where the workplace required suppliers able to meet these same standards and support the requirements of LBC certification.

Designed in collaboration with Hassell, the project has been described as having “set the benchmark in sustainability” and received the 2026 Australian Interior Design Award for Workplace Design by ArchitectureAu. Its strong focus on biophilic design sees water intentionally integrated as both a functional and visual element, reflected in the role of Zenith’s filtered water solutions, supporting wellbeing and connection to the environment.

Zenith’s HydroTap ranges, including the 5‑in‑1 Classic Plus with Arc Mixer in Brushed Nickel, Arc Plus and Classic Plus Brushed Nickel, were specified across multiple kitchens within the project.

“Zenith Water was the most transparent supplier in this category,” said Richard Stokes, Sustainability Team Leader at Arup. “The Declare label meant the information wasn’t just shared with us, it was made publicly available for the benefit of the broader industry.”

For Zenith Water, the partnership reflects a broader commitment to advancing sustainability across the built environment.
