Dynex Soffit Combines Practicality with Style in New Whitford Home

When the owners of this architecturally designed home in Whitford were researching materials at the 2015 Auckland Home Show, they were looking for products that not only looked great, but also performed. What they were after were products that were able to stand the test of time in New Zealand's harsh conditions. When they came across Dynex Soffit, the innovative new soffit lining from Dynex Build, all their boxes were ticked.

With over 350m² of soffit area to cover, they were after something that would become a feature and sit well with their building design. Dynex Soffit's attractive tongue and groove aesthetic meant that they could cover their expansive soffit areas with consistent lines and minimal unsightly jointers. The overall effect was a finish that will in fact stand the test of time, both visually and practically.

Due to Dynex Soffit being pre-finished and never needing painting, once the soffit was up, the job was done. This not only meant the scaffolding was out of the way quickly, helping the builder, but also reduces ongoing maintenance costs that are often associated with painted finishes. This is especially practical with a house of this size.

The house is due for completion in May 2016 and the owners are looking forward to utilising their stunning and practical home.
